Cotton Candy, Sweet and Gold, Let Me See That Tootsie Roll!!!!!!!! I know I am not the only one who lovessssss a good themed party! Last week we had one of those good ol girls nights and I know I usually don't share! I like to keep that part of my life a little private ( selfish I know) but I couldn't resist this one...especially since the 90's fashion is making a come back! And not to mention I looked like a mix between Toni Braxton and Halle Berry LOL!

Less is MORE!

Ok ladies now let's chat about modest sexy! I have been to my fair share of events and I always see the dresses that are a little too revealing and that are all the way inappropriate.

The last thing you want to do is be the topic of the wrong conversation. So let's be the topic of the right conversation! It's ok to have the body hugging dress and it's ok to have have a plunging neckline. But it's not ok to have it all at the same time, pick one.

As I geared up for The Nazr Mohammad Foundation Gala, I narrowed my choices down to 2 dresses. Both a bandage dresses, one with a high neck and backless, and one with a keyhole top. I couldn't choose, I asked all my girls and they all said both dresses. I thought about my mother saying "Less is more" my entire life.

By now you all know that I stay in Topshop and its gotten worse now that they carry House of CB lol! My dress is House of CB Pascal Taupe Backless Bandage Dress. Shoes are Stuart Weitzman Nudist Heel.

Did You Feel That?!?!

Okay now.....lately I have been working so hard on my skin. It wasn't until I turned 20 that I had my first breakout, I went through puberty and all that and not a single blemish or pimple and then all of a sudden life hit me in the face ( LITERALLY).

I know I told you guys how much I love charcoal, but the truth is I am OBSESSED WITH IT! Glam Glow Mud Charcoal Mask has saved me from many under the skin pimples and  those unwanted white and blackheads pop ups, nothing does the trick for me quite like this mask. Now, I'm no dermatologist but listen.... the moment I feel a pimple I put that mask on it at night. Night time is the best time to treat your skin. Your skin cells repair when your body is at rest, so treating it at night is essential.

Short of the long...Last night a pimple called itself trying to grow on my face so I slapped Glam Glow on at night. And yes it stayed on all night! LOL!

Get you some!

Orange Crush

The fact that its only June and we have had beautiful weather that no one should be complaining about ( Chicago is known for an extended winter and spring and we don't warm up until July..so if you're complaining CUT IT OUT! And yes I yelled that lol) Okay back to what I was saying.. I'm really happy about it as you can see..for more than one reason!

This spring and summer season has been about color and lots of it! I was getting tired of seeing all the nudes, green, black and those boring ( but not so boring) colors when the seasons change. So as soon as I saw this pretty little number from ASOS I just had to have it.

I personally call this number Orange Crush, its a refreshing burst of color and catches everyones eyes and crisp like a freshly opened can of pop! Bold is in and boring is out, time to treat yourself to some statement pieces; no matter if its a suit, dress, top, or shoes go for it and enjoy. Stand out from the crowd and allow your pieces to create conversation, trust me this refreshing combination did and you might be surprised who might ask you a question or two.

Almost Bare

With the first day of summer behind us, let's chat about makeup. When it's hot I have a foundation-phobia. I don't want to wear it, look at it, clean a brush..nothing, nada, none of it!

I was a girl who wasn't into makeup just into great skin care until I went to college. I thought I was soooo grown and just had to be so fine all the time! Lol. I just didn't want the unnatural look. So I turned to tinted moisturizer and oh boy did it change my life. It's been my go to for the past 5 years when I want the less is more look.

Fast forward to now, everyone is into the tinted moisturizers, bb and cc creams. It's our way of using moisturizer, foundation and spf (which we all need!).

Whoever came up with this concept..THANK YOU! I feel real when.. I'm almost bare.
