The saying " if you don't have anything nice to say don't say anything at all" seems to be forgotten these days. I can't tell you how many times I read the comments that people leave on the pages of some celebrities, or as I like to call it my blogger girlfriends, they can be so cruel. I know, I know you might be thinking "they're used to it" or " they don't read it" but the truth is they see it, they hear it, and it stings.
One of the biggest things that I take pride in is my skin. I take the time to pamper myself and make sure my skin is always on point and flawless. I remember 4 years ago I could not get to the bottom of what was breaking my skin out. I had pimple after pimple and they were the big ones. They'd form under my skin -on my chin- and would bruise my skin. Bare skin days days were not in the cards for me. It was like everyone had a comment, they'd asked me " oh what happened to your face" " what did you do" and my favorite "you're just like a teenager, skinny with acne", I mean people were just down right nasty and it really took a hit on my self esteem.
So now here I am at 24 embracing every flaw that I have and giving all my secrets that have helped me along the way. I choose to influence and help young girls and women embrace the flaws that make them perfect. I choose to compliment and not tear down the next woman.

We all need reminders to stay positive and mine is my bracelet. It encourages me to stay positive and encourage others. If you're like me and sometimes need a reminder head over to your local Target to get yours but most importantly join the movement.
